The Costanera

The lakeside and coastal towns often have a Costanera - this is the walkway/path along the coast.  It's usually one of the most picturesque and favorite spots in the evenings.

In Villarica, we can walk along the lake, there is a bike path for the kids to ride their bikes (ride next to the speeding cars), and we have a gorgeous view of the volcano.  There are churro sellers (ummm, filled with manjar and made fresh) and vendors trying to entice the kids with their carts.

It's a great place to get a little exercise when the sun goes down and it cools off.  And the photo ops are pretty good too.
